Supply List Art

Most of the materials needed in the art class will be provided via the art fee.

ART FEE:  $10 per student in grades 1 through 8.
In order to provide a lively and well stocked Art Room, a fee of $10.00 is requested for each student.  For families that have more than three students enrolled, the fee shall not exceed $35.00.

The fee should be paid in cash, enclosed in an envelope with “Art Fee” on the front.  Inside the envelope, please include :

• the family name
• the number of children
• their name(s) and grade(s). 

I will keep a record of payments and expenditures.
The envelopes may be turned in to the homeroom teacher or directly to Mrs. Havrilla within the first month of school.

How will the Art fee be spent? Some items are listed below.

• A non-slip rubber mat for the length of the sink/water station.
• An appropriately sized faucet for the in-classroom sink
• A safety non-slip step stool for our younger students.
• An in-classroom basic first aid kit
• Scholastic Art Magazine subscription for grades 4 through 8
• A bluetooth speaker for videos and music
• A monthly subscription to Spotify for curriculum appropriate music during class
• Paper making supplies - A blender or two and two large vats for pulp
• Retail purchases for craft items (Dollar store; Michaels; Hobby Lobby; etc.)
• Fine art posters that complete and compliment lesson plans
• Creative materials that I might find on sale at yard sales
• Etc.
